New project: consulting services, inspection and maintenance plan of the dams, canals and tunnels of the Alto Tietê System, located in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region

RHA Water and Environmental Resources Engineering signed a new contract to provide consulting services, inspection and maintenance plan of the dams, canals and tunnels of the Alto Tietê Water Supply System. RHA has already been developing, since May 2019, Dam Safety Emergency Plans for the five structures that compose this important water supply system of Greater São Paulo.

Alto Tietê is the second largest water supply system at the São Paulo Metropolitan Region, presenting a storage capacity of 575 billion liters of water. The system currently produces 15 thousand liters of water per second, supplying water to 4.2 million inhabitants in the municipalities of São Paulo, Arujá, Ferraz de Vasconcelos, Guarulhos, Itaquaquecetuba, Mogi das Cruzes, Poá and Suzano.
