New project: studies to enhance billing for the use of the Union’s water resources in the Hydrographic Basin of the Paraíba do Sul River

The studies to enhance billing for the use of the Union’s water resources in the Hydrographic Basin of the Paraíba do Sul River will be initiated in the second semester of 2018, together with the Hydrographic Basin of the Paraíba do Sul River Pro Water Management Association (ASSOCIAÇÃO PRÓ-GESTÃO DAS ÁGUAS DA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO RIO PARAÍBA DO SUL – AGEVAP), by proposing mechanisms,fees and other management actions to be charged with effectiveness.

The study scope covers:

1. RHA will start studies to enhance billing for the use of the Union’s water resources in the Hydrographic Basin of the Paraíba do Sul River and

2. Billing of the transposed waters from the Paraíba do Sul River Basin to the Guandu River Basin.
